Stipes’ Shows – Carnival Rides and Games

From kiddie rides to rides that will make you scream, Stipes’ Shows features carnival rides for everyone. Advanced discount tickets are available at Express Mart in Eleva. Carnival games and concessions are also available. This is a special year for Stipes’ Shows as they celebrate 75 years of bringing joy to all ages!
Eleva Strum Youth Association Softball and Baseball
Friday at 5:00 p.m. and Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Eleva Lake Park Baseball Field

Queen Coronation
Friday at 7:00 p.m. on the Main Stage
Here she comes…Miss Eleva! Local high school ladies compete for the title of Miss Eleva in the weeks prior to the Festival by giving speeches at a banquet to a panel of judges. The winner is announced on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. on the Main Stage at the Broiler Fest grounds. Up to five lucky ladies will earn the titles of Miss Eleva, First Attendant, Alternate, and Miss Congeniality. These ladies will represent Eleva in numerous area parades throughout the summer. Hot Rod Burnout Contest
Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the Main Pull Track
Get your motors runnin’! Come on out to the Broiler Fest grounds to watch the Hot Rod Burnout Contest on Friday night starting at 6:30 p.m. Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. Admission is just $10 per person, while spectators 12 and under are free. Family max is $30. Trophies and entry prizes will be awarded with a 100% payback.

Six-Person Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament
Saturday at 7:30 a.m. at the Eleva Lake Park Volleyball Courts
Bump, set, spike! Join us for some heated competition in the Eleva Broilers Festival Volleyball Tournament starting at 7:30 a.m. at the Eleva Lake Park Volleyball Courts. Co-ed teams of 6 of all skill levels are welcome to participate in the tournament. The cost per team is $90. For more information, contact Ryan Ruff at 715-933-1656.
Zayvier’s Chicken Chase 5K or 10K Walk/Run
Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at Eleva Lake Park
The shotgun for this race starts at 8:30 a.m. sharp so don’t be late! Join us for a 5K or 10K walk/run race through the scenic hills and forested trails just on the outskirts of Eleva. The entry fee for the race is $25 for early-bird registration, which closes May 10th, or $30 up until the day prior to the event. You can also register starting at 7:00 a.m. the day of the race for $35.
The Chicken Chase is held in memory of Zayvier Barnes, who passed away in November 2012 following a tragic car accident. Proceeds from Zayvier’s Chicken Chase will benefit the community by improving the walking path around Eleva Lake Park. Contact Nick Preston for details at 715.287.3456. Brandon’s Pancake Breakfast
Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the downtown chicken stand
Fuel up on Saturday morning with a delicious pancake breakfast at the downtown chicken stand. Proceeds from the event will go to the Eleva Strum High School Baseball program in memory of Brandon Semingson.
Kiddie Parade
Saturday at 11:00 a.m. on Main Street
Children of all ages are welcome to participate in the Kiddie Parade. The parade runs north on Highway 93 (Main Street) from Pine Street to Main Street. For more information, contact April Turk at 715.533.1208. You can also complete the Kiddie Parade Registration Form to enter your float.
Talent Show

Flag Retirement Ceremony
Saturday immediately following the Talent Show in front of the Main Stage
The Strum VFW and Eleva American Legion will once again host a United States Flag retirement ceremony at this years Fest right after the Kiddie Parade.
Western Wisconsin Truck Pullers
Truck and Tractor Pull
Saturday at 6:00 p.m. on the Main Pull Track
The Western Wisconsin Truck Pullers are leading this year’s truck and tractor pull. Join us to watch the area’s finest trucks and farm machinery test their strength. Admission is just $10 per person. Children 12 and under are free. Family admission is a $30 maximum. The pit gate opens at 4:00 p.m. and registration begins at 5:00 p.m.

Grand Parade
Sunday at 1:30 p.m. on Main Street
Perhaps the grandest event of the Festival, the Grand Parade winds south on Highway 93 (Main Street) through the village of Eleva starting at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. This year we are featuring the Echoes of Camp Randall from the University of Wisconsin Marching Band! Empty your pockets before you come because many floats hand out candy and other goodies to the spectators. Get here early to save your spot and enjoy a charcoaled chicken dinner while you wait. Demolition Derby
Sunday at 3:30 at the Pull Track
Get ‘er done! Come for the parade and stick around to enjoy the Demolition Derby, sponsored by NRL Promotions! This event takes place at the Pull Track off of Bratburg Street.
